Darlene Studie- McDowell, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, moved to Nashville, TN in 1986.  She was a singer,  songwriter, and keyboard player in a musical group from 1980 to 1995, during which she also promoted and booked bands in the Midwest.  After moving to Nashville, TN, she continued to book artists and bands in the Southeast.  Darlene was approached by a major production company in 1988 to help supply talent for music videos, which led to booking talent for commercials and film.

Her first agency, Career Modeling & Talent Management, started in 1989, as a local, non-union agency.  When DS Entertainment developed in 1998, it became franchised with the unions, Screen Actor's Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, which promotes local, national, and international talent and clients.  DS Entertainment has become one of the top SouthEast USA agencies, representing professional talent from coast to coast.

Misty Pyburn

Misty Pyburn was born in Nashville, TN.  She has been in the entertainment business for many years, either being on stage for a play, a commercial shoot, being a stand-in or sitting and waiting patiently on a film set.  She has been there and knows what it takes to get to the next level and the drive you must have to keep going. 

Misty began acting as a child and has a deep dedication to the field. She began helping people who wanted to get into the business, pointing them in the right direction, helping them get headshots and resumes ready, which all led to her becoming a booking agent for actors.  Misty gets her experience from years, working in the business.

 Misty's passion for the acting field and dedication make her a perfect fit for being a successful DSE Director of the Actor's Division.

Lauren Love

Lauren has worked in television production for a variety of shows in many diverse settings. Along side seasoned professionals; networking with everyone from grip to producers, talent, stylists, etc. For two years, she produced for an all talk and sports radio station in TN. Covering various events, business profiles, and government.

She began her career as a freelancer in television production, after graduating with a BS in EMC TV Production and minor in psychology. Learning the art of production and entertainment with state-of-art equipment and industry pros at MTSU.   Lauren is also a modeling/acting instructor for a major international company.

Lauren will never stop striving to become as educated as possible in her field and in life. Every position is valuable and appreciated.  DS Entertainment strives to have the best directors in each division.  That is why Lauren will be a perfect fit as a Director and agent, to represent models and actors for DS Entertainment’s Modeling/Hosting Division.
