(3-6 song demo) If you are wanting to make a demo CD to present to a record label, management company, etc., you need to make it your very best. This is your first impression and it could be your last impression for your songs to be heard, if not done correctly. As they say, you don't get a second chance to make a first great impression. Do it right the first time!
You will need 3 to 6 songs on your demo, or EP. Make sure the first song 'grabs em'. That's why it is very important to get the best musicians and back up singers. If you don't have your own musicians that you have worked with before, it will cost less to let professionals go in the studio and knock out the tracks. Then you can spend more time getting the vocals perfected.
That's where the additional backup singers come in. If you don't have your own backup singers, we have Nashville's finest professional backup singers that can carry your vocals to a professional range and sound.
Preference is originals. No music execs want to hear cover tunes that the new artist is trying to imitate. So, you can bring in your scratch demo, or make one in the studio, and we can chart it for the musicians. If you are wanting to do a cover tune, you need to 'make it your own'. Absolutely do not try to imitate the original artist. They have already made it. They want a new voice with it's own unique sound and quality.
